Code
Condtions
Wildlife storage is for ponds within Camas Prairie Centennial Marsh Wildlife Management Area.
219
This right authorizes the diversion of an annual total of 158 acre-feet to be used for the initial filling of 19 ponds and 62 acre-feet to replace evaporative losses.
X35
Rights 37-8493, 37-8511, 37-8513, 37-8514, and 37-8526 when combined shall not exceed a total maximum annual diversion volume of 299 af for 19 ponds.
No new banks or dikes will be created which will impound run-off water above the existing ground level. Ponds cannot retain water above the elevation of the natural land surface.
No ponds shall be in an area where there is a discernible and defined channel of Camas Creek or a tributary thereof.
Diversion of water under this right may, in the future, be subject to the control of the watermaster of water district #37, Big Wood River, if the Department determined that water diverted must be regulated to protect senior water rights.
